Naeimeh Doostdar writes for Iranian newspapers about social issues, including women’s rights and equality, children and addiction. Authorities arrested her after she tried to board a plane for Prague, where she was due to take up a position at Radio Farda. She was interrogated at the airport and her passport was confiscated. Other Iranian journalists and documentary makers were also arrested after boarding the same flight. Doostdar talks about her arrest here.
