Hasan Heydari Released
Heydari was arrested by Revolutionary Guard agents on June 1, 2021, at his workplace in Pakdasht.
A source familiar with the arrest of the Instagram activist told Journalism is Not a Crime: "He was arrested in his store, a supermarket in Padkadasht, around 11:00 PM on June 1, 2021. In the past few years, agents have searched his home several times and sent him threatening messages."
Heydari was released on bail on June 3, after spending 48 hours in detention.
His bail was at least 800 million tomans. Agents of the Revolutionary Guard forced Heydari to sign an agreement to stop all his Instagram activities.
