Samira Alinejad Released
Samira Alinejad, a reporter with the state-run local news website Sirjan Ravi News, was arrested on September 22 in the southern city of Sirjan in Kerman Province while covering the protests over the death of Mahsa Amini in the hands of the Morality Police in the southern city of Sirjan, according to Ashkan News. She was taken to Sirjan central prison after her arrest.
